I am blessed. I truly am. I am surrounded by people who love me. (They also laugh at me and tease me but I’m okay with that). I live in a lovely home. I have food in my refrigerator and pantry (I really should date check some of that stuff π ). I have a cat who loves me and shows affection in her own unique way. There are birds outside who call and squawk. Kookaburras have been visiting this week as well. I have almost finished the squares for my new quilt (my first quilt really). My home is beginning to look like Christmas is coming (I’ll post pictures when I’ve done it all). We have had beautiful rain this week and the grass is green once more. The Tween had orientation at her high school yesterday and she thinks she will like it. (Apparently she loved manual arts). We have her primary school Christmas concert this evening (her last ever). The sun is shining today and the sky is a brilliant blue. I feel as if I am in a great place right now. The weather is not too hot and not too cold. I am breathing. I am alive (my back lets me know that every time I move right now).
Life is good. I am blessed. I am loved.
Have a blessed day π
Look after that back! π Any photos of your new quilt?

My back is a pain (pun intended). I guess it comes with the territory of sitting at a computer all day. π¦
I haven’t taken any progress photos of my quilt just yet but I should. I have hit a snag where I’ve used some of my pieces in the wrong part of the quilt and now that I need them, I have to source more fabric so I can cut them. lol
But I’m having fun!

You are blessed! We all are, no matter what we have and what we don’t. Because no matter what we don’t have, we still have so much. There is always plenty to be thankful for.

I read an article the other day that talked about first world versus third world and just how much we really have to be thankful for. So you’re right – there is always plenty to be thankful for. π

I’m so laid back right now April, I haven’t even thought about Christmas shopping lol. Still haven’t finished decorating the house much to the chagrin of the Garden Gnome but I am doing a bit here and there. It is the time of year when work is just hectic so I come home and all I want to do is veg out. lol

I tried that and it still doesn’t work. If you click on my photo you get my blog but if you click on my name you get the other one *sigh*. Anyway, I have to get ready for work. Take care π
