Music is my life….

Remember that song “Music is my life, my life is music”? I’m singing it now as I type this you know. Sad, but oh so very true! What can I say? I love music. I have a pile of CD’s that would almost be as tall as me. (Since I’m vertically challenged that isn’t all that high – but still quite a few CDs in the collection). I was looking at a boxed set of 70’s music today. I’m seriously thinking about purchasing it. But then I realised that I don’t get the opportunity to play all the music I have now. My iPad is FULL of my music. I needed to delete a lot of it not long ago to make room for my apps.

I like all kinds of music. This morning I was listening to flutes. Yesterday I was listening to classical. At work today I was listening to the radio that plays a mix of 80’s to now. I like Il Divo and Katy Perry. Pink and Mozart. Lady Antebellum and Greig. James Blunt and relaxation sounds. Oasis and Glenn Miller. Can you see my contrasts? 🙂

Listening to music brings me peace. (Unless of course I’m cleaning the house to Queen’s Fat Bottomed Girls. Then I’m busting moves). Music not only soothes the savage beast, it soothes the troubled mind and heart. And when your heart is at peace, the music within you resounds throughout the universe.
