Tuesday News Stories

Welcome to my inaugural Tuesday News Stories where I will share interesting news articles I have come across that brings a smile to my face (or even better, makes me laugh).

To start the ball rolling, this is an older story from May 23rd, 2013. I literally laughed out loud when I read this article. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2013-05-23/fed-up-angler-makes-snap-decision-over-croc/4707866

The visual imagery in my mind was enough to send me into fits of laughter prompting the girls working with me to ask what was going on. So I read the story to them and they laughed as well. You would never catch me doing anything like this. I’ve seen these fellows in the wild and I ain’t gonna touch them.

There is another link to this story by a rival newspaper that sensationalises it a little more and also provides photos. You can find their version of the story here: http://www.couriermail.com.au/news/queensland/fisherman-catches-2m-croc-and-gives-it-the-bottom-bunk-bed/story-e6freoof-1226648716718

In other good news, I have five awards that I need to respond to. I promise that I will when I have some time to do so πŸ™‚

Have a blessed day πŸ™‚

    1. Am I wrong to have laughed at the mental imagery of him sleeping with one eye open and waiting for the croc to somehow break it’s muzzle and get him? I also loved how he took it to his councillor in protest πŸ™‚
