How many of us envy the idyllic lifestyle of birds on the water be they ducks, pelicans, swans or other water fowl. Wouldn’t it be lovely to just float around all day without a care in the world?
There are so many of us like these birds. We appear calm and collected on the outside but under the surface we are paddling like maniacs to stay afloat! Take some time today to just ‘drift’ with the current and give yourself a break.
And don’t forget to breathe!
I like the eagle, who flies so gracefully through the air. Free of earth’s confines.

I like eagles too April but most days I am just like the duck 😉

Hee hee, maybe I should have said I admire the eagles. Most days, I feel like a buzzard, pecking at the bones of my sanity. Sounds sinister, doesn’t it? On a serious note, I’m probably more like a crow. One of those annoying squawkers who disturb other’s peace by my squawk. So, you see, a duck is a wonderful bird to be like. 🙂

You’re looking at crows all wrong. They are one of the most intelligent birds in the world. They also have such a fabulous gloss to their coats. So therefore you are beautiful and smart!! 🙂

Yeah, the Native Americans have beliefs that they carry the spirit of passed loved ones, or something along those lines. If the ones that visit me are my loved ones, they must be the ones who never knew when to shut up, and insist I wake up at 5am.

You are absolutely right. What we see on the outside is rarely an accurate portrayal of what’s on the inside. I would love to a bird, to fly and be free.

I often dream that I can fly. Does that count? 😉
