S is for Sharing Smiles

A smile is a gift.
It is a gift we give to ourselves and to others.
Smiles are contagious and so very easy to share.
They are the gift that keeps on giving. I found this image on Google and thought it was great.

Today, I am struggling to smile.
My wonderful menopausal body is giving me grief right now. When that happens, my mood plummets. However, I know that it will pass. So today, I am going to practice my smiling.
After all, smiling is a great workout for the face. And I’m going to try extra hard to make that smile reach my eyes.
So, I leave you with a few images (found on google) that I hope will get your smiling also.

Today’s mission (should you choose to accept it) is to go out into the world and face it head on – WITH A HUGE SMILE ON YOUR FACE.

  1. I love it! Sharing a smile can certainly change someone’s day, that’s for sure!! 😀 I struggle with hormonal “fluctuations” as well, and they are no fun at all. 😉 So here’s an extra smile for ya: 🙂

  2. Oh, love, I don’t miss those menopausal ups and downs. Even knowing you’ll get through it doesn’t help the symptoms when they rear up. Be as kind as you can to yourself – look in the mirror for a smile if you have to!

  3. They really did make me smile! I love to smile actually. Sometimes I’m smiling and I don’t even realize it. But then there are those menopausal days, yes….but we’ll forget that for now and just SMILE 😀

  4. Steven Wright always makes me laugh. Here are some of my favorite quotes from him. Maybe they’ll give you a smile or two.

Cross country skiing is great, if you live in a small country. If you saw a heat wave, would you wave back? If one synchronised swimmer drowns, do all the rest have to drown too? I went to a general store, but they wouldn’t let me buy anything specific. On the other hand, you’ve got different fingers.

And last but not least: If you tell a joke in the forest, but nobody laughs, was it a joke?
