I apologise for the down and out posts over the past week or so. I want you to know that I am not always down, injured or feeling sorry for myself.
My back has surrendered to the two pronged assault from the Volatrin and the heat packs and now acts as if it never had a care in the world.
So today we are going out and about.
We are heading off to a swap meet and car show in a few minutes and then later we are going country driving with the in-laws. Lots of photo opportunities for sure.
Anyway, this morning, I woke up and looked at the print on the wall beside my bed and thought “I want to share this with you”.The canvas I am speaking of is one of my own designs and it secretly gives me a thrill each time I see it. My boss liked it so much that I had one made for her and she has it hanging in her bedroom also.
It says:
“The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future, or anticipate troubles but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly”
I’d say the Buddha has it right!
Lovely creation 🙂
When you go global with your canvases, The Mister would also like one!

Suz, you are awesome, what can I say it’s super, can I have on my wall too ? Glad to hear your back has cheered up, and you’re bouncing around again without a care, happy days 😀

ahh… love ya Suz… it is wise to choose the present; I agree… even good memories of the past are not the present — its a gift to enjoy — the present. 🙂 be of good cheer friend.

And I don’t reckon any apology is needed. Your posts are always great. Real and honest. Nothing to apologise about!

We all have moments that are frustrating, but if you can’t share them here, where can you share them. It’s nice to have you back feeling like yourself. 🙂

I LOVE that canvas and the words that accompany it! I do believe in the power of positive thinking and that our thoughts are vibrations that are reflected in our bodies. That all sounds nice now of course because I’m doing well today, lol.

Oooo! I like that a lot. I wish I could adjust my life so that it would be more of an Asia-style. Their everyday living is so uncluttered and relaxing.

It does but I’m sure they find things to give them stress also.
