Tough Times – Tough People

You all know that I live by the saying that life can be summed up in three words – It Goes On.
It will – and it does.
The sun will come tomorrow.
The day will dawn once more.
Keep moving forward and the past will fall behind.I honestly believe this to be so.
I know there are many of you out there are going through some really tough times and you are wondering exactly how long it’s going to last. Honestly, I have no answer to that. I wish I did. I wish I could take it all away from you and make your life happy once again. But I can’t.
What I can tell you is that it won’t last forever.
Blue skies will come.
There is an expiration date for it all.
Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and counting the small blessings.
That is all anyone can ask.
And when you come out the other side, you will be tougher and a better person for having endured what you have.
Blessings to you.

  1. Beautiful post and photo Sue πŸ™‚
You are right, we need to appreciate and remember the good times, then we also have some good memories for bad times. Thanks for sharing and send you my best wishes.

  2. Thank you for the encouragement Sue. I’m finding small things every day that remind me that I’m on the right track. I used to miss those things and let the other things overshadow and take me down. I’m a tough cookie yesseriee….

  3. Suz, I really like what you are saying in this post. Your line ‘Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and counting the small blessings.’ is such great advice. So often, we’re so focused on waiting for the big blessing, that we miss the small blessings all around us.
