Today’s quote comes to you courtesy of the delightful Pooh Bear who was such a wise little fellow with such a simplistic view of life.
It really is the little things in life that are important. The little things that make someone else feel special or cause us so much joy that we think that our hearts will explode.
A smile.
A shared joke.
A small act of kindness.
Just the little things. ❤
I love pooh! My daughter (now 23) and I spent many happy hours watching Pooh’s adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood. Our world today so desperately needs those random acts of kindness. Great post!

There is something loveable about all of the characters and I’m sure we can identify with at least one of them. What a lovely memory to have of times spent with your daughter.

I grew up on Winnie the Pooh and my nieces are hopefully going to do the same when they’re old enough! Timeless! Thanks for the reminder and keep up the good blogging work!

They certainly are the big things in life. Unfortunately many of us tend to overlook them.

Thanks for the reminder of Pooh Piglet today. We have the complete collection and read both the stories and the poems over and over when our kids were little. Every now again we still get it out and have a sincere laugh over Milne’s brilliance with language and storytelling.

Sometimes it doesn’t take much at all to bring joy to the life of ourselves and others.

Even the children’s stories can share a Universal truth about kindnesses done to you or done by you, that they bring joy. If we spread that joy throughout the World, instantly the World is a better place.

Some time we spend so much time worrying about the big things we forget about the little important ones altogether. Pooh bear puts it very well, he’s always been a favourite of mine.

I grew up with Winnie the Pooh and the others. My mom would read a chapter each night before my brother and I had to go to bed. I’m a superfan of Eeyore. I even have lounge pant with him on them. 😀

Isn’t it funny how the characters of the 100 Acre Wood have become such a big part of everyone’s lives?
