Monochrome Madness 2-14

I’m pretty hit and miss with these because it depends upon the type of week that I am having and how busy I am whether I remember to send a photo to Leanne for her Monochrome Madness challenge. This week I have left it to the last minute. *oops*

Last weekend, we went road tripping with friends of ours just over the border and into Northern NSW. I took this photo late Saturday afternoon in the town of Lismore. The shops were all closed and the town was pretty quiet when we wandered around. I must admit that when I spied the first lot of street art, I was quite excited. We saw a little more of it as we wandered and then upon taking (what we thought was) a shortcut, we found more alleys filled with artwork. I’ll share some more of this in another post. I found that the Teen was a willing model for me and she posed for this photo that I have converted to monochrome.

049aI must admit that I was more excited than my travelling companions at finding all this art work and I had a wonderful time photographing it whilst they were more concerned with finding their way out of the alleys. lol

Happy Wednesday all.

  1. What a shame we weren’t in that area at the same time. I haven’t explored the alleys of Lismore yet, I guess I should open my eyes more. Your photo looks fantastic and kudos to the model as well 🙂
