I’m pretty hit and miss with these because it depends upon the type of week that I am having and how busy I am whether I remember to send a photo to Leanne for her Monochrome Madness challenge. This week I have left it to the last minute. *oops*
Last weekend, we went road tripping with friends of ours just over the border and into Northern NSW. I took this photo late Saturday afternoon in the town of Lismore. The shops were all closed and the town was pretty quiet when we wandered around. I must admit that when I spied the first lot of street art, I was quite excited. We saw a little more of it as we wandered and then upon taking (what we thought was) a shortcut, we found more alleys filled with artwork. I’ll share some more of this in another post. I found that the Teen was a willing model for me and she posed for this photo that I have converted to monochrome.
I must admit that I was more excited than my travelling companions at finding all this art work and I had a wonderful time photographing it whilst they were more concerned with finding their way out of the alleys. lol
Happy Wednesday all.
Neat art Suz.

A worldwide phenomenon these days with agents even renting out the sides of buildings for these artworks. Some are absolutely stunning.

I love the street art. It allows those who like to graffiti a legitimate way of expressing themselves. Got o be a win-win situation.

What a shame we weren’t in that area at the same time. I haven’t explored the alleys of Lismore yet, I guess I should open my eyes more. Your photo looks fantastic and kudos to the model as well 🙂

We’re you down that way? I’d like to go back there and explore the town further.

Not that weekend but we do go down that way mainly to Alstonville to visit Chris’s family and to explore the countryside.
