This morning is Good Friday. Happy Easter to you all.
As I sit at my computer and listen to the sounds of the world waking up outside, I heard the noises of the grandchildren waking up inside.
I went to check on them and this is what I found.
One is still sound asleep but the other two are quietly reading.
I love moments like these.

Happy Easter family of mine . yes Paul it is great to see children reading .Isell second hand books at the Markets and I often give a book to a child who wants toread but doesnt have any pocket money left .
As Sues mom I am a reader Sue is a reader so are her children and now their children .I am proud of them

And so you should be Mum. Book-selling is a noble endeavor and giving to those who cannot afford is so touching. My Dad .didn’t finish school – he had to work to help support the family when he was young. Nonetheless he rose in responsibility at work until, when he retired, he was the General Manager of a division with 500 employees under him. He was a kind man and he delighted in helping kids to read and watching them read. i inherited his love of books

Well the Son doesn’t read as many books as he listens to them. He has a number of audio books that he regularly ‘reads’. Whatever works I guess.

I am very proud of my children and grandchildren David. Although the Son doesn’t read as such, he is an avid devourer of audio books. And I think that works just as well. 🙂

I was just thinking about you the other day, “What is she up to, I wonder?” And here you are. 🙂 What a special moment to walk in on. I love that the kids are reading and not playing video games or watching TV. To me, that makes it even more special.

Thank you for thinking of me. I am a long way away, but have a friend who was evacuated and did lose her home to the fire. Physically she is okay and grateful to be alive!
