B is for Birds and their Songs

Day 2 of my self imposed A-Z challenge designed to encourage me to share with you all once again.
This self-imposed exile from blogging has been a little difficult and I must admit that I miss making the time to write. I still journal every day but journalling is a different species of fish to blogging. Through each of these posts, I’m hoping to share a little insight into what makes me tick. Life changes and as it changes, many things about us change also. So this is a snapshot of me – ‘Sue, Suz, Suzanne, Mum, Ma’ as I am at this point in time.

On Flying – or Being a Bird

As a human being, in order to fly one must either board a plane or fit themselves with an apparatus made of nylon and launch  from a great height in order to soar.
I prefer to fly in my dreams for there lies true freedom.

I recall participating in a blog hop thing quite some time ago where I had to answer the question “If there was one super power you could have, what would it be”? If I remember correctly, I believe I answered that I would love the ability to fly.
However this could prove difficult for me seeing as I have a fear of heights. Continue reading

Looking for the Blessings in Life

I am a creature of routine and habit (most of the time anyway). I have the same morning routine. I generally eat the same thing for lunch each day (until I feel like a change). I like to know what is going to happen during my day (although I’m working on ‘going with the flow’). I feel happy when I have a sense of order in my life.
