Monochrome Madness 2-12

It’s Wednesday again, and that means that Monochrome Madness is once again on Leanne Cole’s blog.
I’m a little intermittent with my participation but when I remember, then I do try to send a photo to Leanne for inclusion in the challenge.

Monday Musings

I am going to attempt to schedule some blog posts again since my life remains chaotic to some degree. When it is not chaotic, I am tired. When I am tired, I lay on the couch with my iPad and play mindless games before having an early night.
Either that, or I spend the time working on work stuff.
It’s one of those things, that when something occurs in life, priorities often need to be changed.
Unfortunately my blogging has been one of those things.
This is sad, because I really love my blog and the interactions that I have with all of you. So I am doing my best in keeping in touch even though it may be sporadic.

Through My Lens – Mt Coot-tha and Southbank Parklands

As part of my routine implementation, I am hoping to get back into my weekly “Through My Lens” posts out and about in Australia.
As you know, last week I went away for the weekend with the Son and my DIL beginning the weekend at the unearthly hour of 3.30am in order to catch the sunrise over Brisbane at 5.11am. We missed the beginning of the sunrise by about 2 minutes but we were there to watch it rise higher. If you missed those photos, you can find them here.

Sunrise in Brisbane

My weekend began at 3.15am on Saturday morning when i woke up and then wouldn’t allow myself to go back to sleep in case I slept in past my 3.45am alarm.
The son and my DIL were picking me up at 4am so we could travel into Brisbane to the top of Mt Coot-tha to see the sunrise.
