I just saw this on my FB feed and thought it well worth sharing.
I take my hat off to the creator of this meme for putting this out there.
I think we could all learn a lot from Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Owl and Christopher Robin.

I once found a book called (something like) Eeyore’s tips for Gloomy Days and bought it for a friend. I thought it was just precious.

Thank you Robyn. My son has an interstate visitor there right now and this is distracting him somewhat. He has good days and bad days but still far too many bad days.

Oh so true….compassion and understanding is the key, not someone else trying to fix me.

That’s true. As in the case of my son, I can give him suggestions on things that might help, but I cannot fix him.

They were my favourite childhood books and I shared them with my boys who loved them too. As an adult I read The Tao of Pooh and The Te of Piglet by Benjamin Hoff. The books explore the lessons we can learn from Pooh, Piglet and friends and are well worth a read.

They sound delightful. I think I was telling someone that I found a book about Eeyore’s outlook on life once and gave it to a friend. I thought it was pretty funny.

I never considered Eyeore as having a problem, I assumed it was just his character or personality.
Looking at a lot of cartoon characters I can see varying traits in them all.
