Wishing you Joy

It is Christmas Eve here.
I have much to do today beginning with picking up my DIL shortly to go to the local Christmas market. Then it is home to put the finishing touches to everything that needs doing.
Unfortunately that also means cleaning the bathrooms! *sigh*
At this time, I would wish you all the joy of this season.
I’m reminded of a quote this morning that is attributed to Ghandi (although there is some conjecture over whether he actually said it).

Be the change you want to see in the world

At this time I’d urge you to not only be the change but to be the love, joy and peace that you would also wish to see. Be the happiness. Be the giving. Be the kindness. Be the kind of person that you wish to be around.

You probably won’t hear much from me for a day or so as  spend time with family but I trust that whilst I am spending time with those I love, you also are spending time with loved ones.
Finally, I will leave you with some photos of Christmas within my own home (and proof to Amy that I really only have one inflatable lol).

Blessings to you all.

  1. Merry Christmas! Its still the 23rd here in the states (can we call it “Christmas Adam” because it comes before Eve?)
and I finally mopped my floors. Pretty sure it’s been a good two years since I got out the mop.

Peace and blessing to you, from windy, cold, rainy Seattle.

    1. I laughed so hard when you read your suggestion of ‘Christmas Adam’ and have shared it with many of my family since then. Thank you for making me smile.
As to getting out the mop, the Teen offered to both vacuum and mop this year and I was incredibly grateful.
I trust that your Christmas was warm in love if not in weather. 🙂

  2. Thank you for the lesson to be the kindness and love that we want to see in the world. I think that during this week I may need to remind myself of that at least a time or two. I do hope that you enjoy your time with your family and that it is the greatest Christmas ever. 🙂 Merry Christmas!

    1. I wish only that I could always practice what I preach. I needed to remind myself many times. As much as I love my family……
I hope your Christmas was filled with joy.

  3. Thank you for such sweet wishes of the season – and for reminding me – I have to clean the bathrooms!
More importantly, I must work harder to be the best I can be and to stop fussing over what is insignificant.
    Happy holiday wishes to you.

        1. I’ve been looking at wide angle lenses online this morning and even with the Boxing Day sales they are still out of this little black duck’s price range right now. 😦
          Oh well. 🙂
You will have no trouble at all in living up to the lens.
