Last weekend, the Son and my DIL took me away for the weekend. We began with sunrise over Brisbane before driving north to the Sunshine Coast where they had a lovely unit booked for the night.
This week, my photo for the MM46 run by Leanne Cole and Laura Macky on Leanne’s blog was taken on Sunday morning.
I got up and went around opening all the blinds in the unit to let in the morning light. The only thing stopping me from actually opening the doors and windows was the heat outside and the bliss of the air conditioning.
As I was taking this photo, my son was horrified believing that I was photographing the two older couples having breakfast on the balcony next to us. He was worried one of them might notice me with my camera and start yelling. lol
Love it. Makes me want to be there and to sit out in one of those chairs. I like the lines of the blinds and the soft curves of the chairs.

I was almost tempted to go outside and sit there as well but it was as still as anything and the mercury was climbing. lol

It just has an invitation written all over it and compels you to want to go out π

HEY! Where’s the old couple? I thought, given you were forbidden, that you’d sneak at least one picture. Ha! Just kidding. Nice blinds. It sounds like ti was a fun trip.

I couldn’t do it. I had visions of the police knocking on my door and me having to surrender my camera. lol

Oh, how I love this image, especially in black and white. Conjures up all kinds of good stories, not to mention it just is an excellent picture!

Nice shot! I always worry too that people might think I’m snapping their picture, and come charging after me π

It’s a bit of a constant worry sometimes. I did find myself asking people quite often if they minded if I took photos of their dogs on that weekend though. lol

I like the name of the coast—the Sunshine Coast—makes me happy. I love the shot!

The Sunshine Coast isn’t as commercialised as the Gold Coast. It’s nice but really a misnomer at times. They get more rain than many other places around south east Queensland. lol

That’s a scene that would stay with you I should think. Lovely.
